Project overview:Gravitational concrete dam: its maximum height and total generating capacity are 181m and 18.2 million kilowatts respectively. Its reservoir capacity stands at 39.3 million cubic meters. The Three Gorges Dam is the largest hydro-junction project in the world. Selected as top 100 classical construction projects of China in 2009.

Construction period:This project was commenced in December 1994. Its first generation unit was put into operation in July 2003. The project was commenced in 2008.

Undertaken project:Left-bank Dam segment project, right –bank water inlet project and three –phase right –bank workshop dam segment project undertaken by Qingyun company with Hydro-Engineering Bureau No.4 as the responsible person and Hydro-engineering Bureau No.14 as the partner, installation construction of 8 generation units independently undertaken by Hydro-Engineering Bureau No.4.
